Perfect Location!

The unit we stayed in (422) was in a perfect location. Pretty view overlooking Oma’s lift. You can walk out the door and go skiing. It’s also right across the street from the pool/hot tub area so you could easily walk there after a day of skiing. We’re a family of 5 so we brought a cot and put it in between the twin beds and all 3 kids stayed in that room...so it was a great size condo for us.

Great location but very out of date unit

We arrived to a beautiful resort and view from our condo only to see that it hasn’t been updated since it was built in 1984. It was not a comfortable stay. The beds are HORRIBLE. I could go on and on but I’m sure this isn’t the first time hearing about this unit. Also. There was a cup full of cigarette butts overflowing on the balcony that stunk and I wasn’t touching it.

9th year and counting

This is our 9th year renting from sugar ski and country club in the 400 block... We have never disappointed and have been in this specific #422 rental several times. While it is always clean and always has what we need, the oven in this particular unit definitely need some attention and a deep cleaning or replacement altogether. The dishwasher in this unit also would not dissolve the dishwashing tabs so something's going on there. And the washing machine in this unit is missing the knob to turn it on. Outside of the appliances, our stay was amazing we will definitely be back none of these things would keep us from coming again and using the same room. The master bedrooms bed is incredibly comfortable. It's perfect if you're looking for what we're looking for which is housing teens to go skiing, prepare some big meals, and just hang out in general. You also cannot beat this price for slopeside rentals. I specifically love the use of the old spring blossom Pyrex which I look forward to every year in many of the units.

Convenient for ski in ski out but the room need upgrade

Very convenient to get to the slope. The room is relative clean but the carpet is dirty. My son is allergic to dust and can tell the difference. The furniture definitely need upgrade. The recliner and some chairs are loose. Kitchen never upgraded for 30 years probably. I will recommend this if you come to sugar mountain for ski but do not expect too much to the room

perfect location - comfortable but outdated unit

Perfect location for our family ski trip - being at the top of the lift and a nice little blue run was awesome. great size unit for 4 people. Ski locker was good. the furnishings were ok but very old. appliances are very old and the dishwasher did not work. Cooking pots/pans were very limited. It was great for us but would be perfect if it had just a few appliance and furnishings updated.
Check-in/out process was super easy. easy car access to grocery store.

Location is awesome

The appliances are old but the rooms are much bigger than the pictures look. The view is fantastic. The clubhouse is nice. If you cant ski well don't try to go down this hill, but there is a small area you can practice in before getting on the shuttle. Get equipment in town the resort is way more expensive and runs out of stuff.

Overall good experience. I didn’t expect the condo to be so dated given the $280 a night rate. Front office staff was great. Kids enjoyed the skiing

Sugar Ski is a great place to base out of for skiing Sugar Mtn. Stay several times now and each time has been a pleasure. Especially now with the new club house. Unit we stayed in could've use newer appliances, but still nice.

Plenty of space fo the 6 of us. Great view. We stayed in the 4th building off the slope. The first day the hot water ran out before done with shower, but no problem on 2nd day. Website says shuttle runs every 30min; not true. You have to call for pick up.

No frills, a good place to stay

Renting is always seamless. You can't beat walking out right onto the slopes either. Décor is dated but who cares!

This is the 6th year we have stayed at Sugar Ski and Country Club. We rent a minimum of 2 units each time we come. It is always a perfect spot for our group. I will be happy to see the amenities up and running again soon.

Great place to stay!

We stayed at this property for 2 nights. The location is absolutely amazing. You can see the slopes and lift from your living room. Just put on your ski or snowboard and go down the hill. When you are done or just wanna take a break the lift will literally take you back to your front door. Also the shuttle bus from the condo down to the slopes works great. They run from morning to night. The stuff is fabulous and so friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and planing to come back.

Great place in winter wonderland!

Mary K. from Asheville, NC,

The Omas meadow lift was right in our front yard, We could hear the snow blowers in the living room, but the bedrooms were quiet. We enjoyed the fireplace and the ski storage closet. Management was really helpful and responsive when the WiFi was not working. The condo was set to just the right temperature when we got there.

The apartment is definitely dated, but it has everything you need. The view is beautiful and the convenience to the slopes is great.
